A Word From the Pastor

"Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home."

The church – every church – is called, I believe, to build community, to nurture hospitality, to build "home", so that people can find among the faith community a refuge from any "storm."

As "home" the church is called to be an extended family to and for one another. This describes well the people of Trinity United Church. When one member of the community rejoices, all join in that rejoicing. When one member suffers, all share the burden of that suffering (1 Corinthians 12).

As followers of Christ, we are also called to be about the joyful and terrifying, splendid and awe-filled challenge of reaching out to the community as we seek to live the light and love of Christ in the world. To that end, I pray that all who are touched by the ministry and mission of this church will know the radical hospitality of God in Christ.

With gratitude and hope,
