Christy Lang Hearlson is an ordained Presbyterian pastor and a doctoral candidate in Practical Theology in Christian Education and Formation at Princeton Theological Seminary. Her doctoral research focuses on how American adolescent girls make sense of and use the Bible. She previously served The Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City as Associate Pastor for Christian Education and Discipleship, and as a youth director at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, WA. She has extensive experience in writing curriculum and working with children and youth, and she is passionate about excellent teaching. Christy lives in Boston with her husband Adam Hearlson, who works in the field of homiletics, and their new son Elliot.
